A New Way to Live & Play

In 1888 the Oscar Zimbal Brick Co. opened on what is now the VanDerVart Concrete Company site. In the 2011 Comprehensive Plan for the City, this site was identified to be re-developed into a more compatible use for the neighborhood. VanDerVart will be moving slightly south and will remain a member of the Sheboygan Economic Community to allow for the development of The Oscar, bridging the Industrial Past to the Residential Future.
